Sustainable Property Investments support whānau to thrive

The Directors of Sustainable Property Investments (“Sustainable”) are conscious of the very important role that good parenting plays in our society and they admire the work of Parenting Place. By switching to Crombie Lockwood Insurance Brokers through the Insurance for Good program Sustainable has now donated $6,200 to Parenting Place at no additional cost to the business.

Sustainable

Sustainable is an Auckland-based, property investment fund founded in2008 by a diverse group of seasoned property investors, surveyors, managers, and entrepreneurs. Their mandate is to acquire commercial properties, including industrial, office and retail, with the potential to be taken through a value transition into higher value uses. Along with their hands-on management approach, the directors are deeply aligned to the interests of the fund by putting their money where their mouth is and investing personally.

Across the 15 years of operating, Sustainable has succeeded in its goal of significantly outpacing the NZX listed property sector while providing attractive monthly cash distributions.

Partnering with Parents

Parenting Place exists to see anAotearoa where all whānau truly flourish, where parents feel confident, and children feel deeply loved. Parenting Place have been supporting parents in Aotearoa for 30 years, through a range of parenting programmes and resources to provide parents with strategies to build strong family relationships.

 Insurance for Good is a charitable fundraising program created in collaboration between Crombie Lockwood and social enterprise, Raizor. For every insurance policy taken out by a new client referred by Raizor, Crombie Lockwood donates 20% of their broker commission to the client’s charity of choice every year. This means clients benefit from expert insurance advice while helping their preferred charity at the same time.

Sustainable is now in their second year of using Insurance for Good and have generated $6,200 to support Parenting Place and their mission to help whānau to thrive.

Building whānau resilience

Parenting Place is embarking on an innovative project to take everything they have learnt over the last 30 years and reimagine it for the next generation of parents. The donations received through Sustainable and the Insurance for Good programme will help fund the development of a library of online courses to enable more New Zealand parents’ access to trusted and uniquely New Zealand parenting advice when and where it suits them.
